Domestic fencing

Closeboard Fencing is an enormously popular, robust and long lasting fence. It is used for providing both privacy and security in domestic and commercial situations. It is assembled kit form and once the basic erection techniques are understood it is easy to erect and offers the flexibility to overcome many of the problems routinely encounted with fencing projects. The components used to make the fence may be varied meaning that the strength, appearance and cost of the fence can be matched to suit the jobs? particular needs.

panels and trellis

Lap Panels are a very popular type of screen fence often used in rear gardens. The initial capital cost is the lowest of all solid screen fences available, however life expectancy is less than fences such as Closeboard. Lap panels are not suitable for exposed locations or sloping ground. Cutting the last panel to length is fairly straightforward. A range of trellis tops and decorative post caps may be used to provide a fence with an individual appearance.

continental panels

Continental Panels have become really popular in the last 1-2 years. They offer an architectural appearance to a fence at a very reasonable price. They are ideal for use within the garden in conjunction with landscaping projects. They are harder than Lap Panels to cut to length and are best suited to reasonably level sites. Various styles are available and the continental name is generic for this whole range.

Timber Palisade is a robust fence that gives vision through it. It has a number of applications and the height of the fence is chosen to match the application required. A flexible feature of this fence is the fact that the tops of the fence pales can be rounded, flat or pointed. It may be used to demarcate areas and control access for small children and dogs using the lower heights available of 900 to 1200mm. Heights of 1500 to 1800mm can be used for boundary fencing where full privacy is not required.
